Initial Interview and Meeting

There is no charge for the initial interview, when it is at our office. This is our time for getting to know you and understand your project. It is also when we explain our design process, show other projects we’ve completed and the services we offer so you can make your decision from an informed position.

Design solutions are not presented at this time. This meeting typically lasts approximately one hour. 

If you prefer to have us meet you at your home, we will include a personalized COLaS Assessment as described below.

Personalized Interior Design Assessment

We offer a one to two hour consultation in your home to discuss your personal situation and interior design goals.  You can share your thoughts and vision while we walk through the home.  Each area will be addressed in our final COLaS (Challenges Opportunities Limitations and Strengths) Assessment that outlines the possibilities for transforming your home’s interiors into your dream space.

Interior Design Fees and Agreement

Each interior design project is unique and thus the design fees vary depending on needs, such as work to be involved and/or amount of customization.

All fees are clearly outlined in our letter of agreement, describing the scope of services for the project, and the number of meetings, revisions, selections, etc. that are included for that fee.

Purchasing

If appropriate to the scope of services we will include a purchasing agreement for items such as furnishings, floor coverings, lighting, and home decor accessories as part of our letter of agreement. 

The purchase price on all items specified through Sesshu Design Associates will be shown on a detailed individual proposal including the deposit required; balance is due before delivery.
